Iceberg, Our final limited release of the year, crafted to mark the close of 2025 with something truly special. This exceptional coffee embodies a meticulous, hands-on approach to quality that elevates it beyond the ordinary.

Starting its journey at Riverdale Estate, Yercaud in Tamil Nadu, each cherry is carefully hand-picked where slower maturation enhances sugar content and mucilage density, key aspects of natural process coffee. The processor ensure only the ripest cherries move forward, using a Brix meter to measure sugar levels precisely.

Once harvested, the cherries undergo a thorough triple wash using natural spring water from its own estate to remove impurities, followed by a floating process to eliminate underdeveloped beans. The highest-density cherries are fermented with the addition of rose petals, enhancing the development of flavonoids and bringing out cleaner, brighter fruit notes along with a unique floral character.

After fermentation, the cherries are slow-dried on raised beds for up to 30 days, promoting even drying and improved air circulation. This careful process ensures a vibrant, clean cup. The coffee is hulled in our dry mill, where our quality control team meticulously hand-picks any defective beans. To maintain maximum freshness, all our natural process coffees are vacuum-sealed to preserve moisture levels between 11–13%.

Roasted to perfection by our head roaster, Baninder Kochar, Iceberg coffee is profiled for a clean, balanced cup that highlights delicate exotic florals, complemented by Savorworks’ signature long, lingering aftertaste. Expect bright, clean flavors with tasting notes of hawflakes (nostalgic Chinese confection), plum blossom, persimmon, and mango.
