Savorworks Opens New Format Cafe in Gurgaon
1st April 2026
Savorworks has expanded to Gurgaon with a new outlet that combines café, retail, and bar formats under one space. The move reflects the brand’s effort to evolve beyond a traditional café setup and cater to changing urban consumption patterns.
Founded by Baninder Singh, an SCA-certified coffee roaster, and Paweena Withyasathien Kochar, a chocolatier, the brand has built its presence around coffee and bean-to-bar chocolate offerings.
The Gurgaon outlet introduces a format that integrates dining, retail, and mixology. It is designed to transition through the day, offering a slower, experience-led environment during daytime hours and a more social setting in the evening.
The Founders said, “With Gurgaon, we wanted to move beyond the idea of a café as a single-format space. This outlet allowed us to explore how people engage with coffee and chocolate across the day from a slower, more immersive daytime experience to a more social, high-energy environment in the evening. It’s less about adding new elements and more about expanding how the same core ingredients can be experienced differently.”
The space has been designed by Aayushi Malik, with interiors inspired by the textures and forms of cacao and coffee. Key design elements include a merchandise dome inspired by cacao pods and a large-scale installation behind the coffee bar.
The outlet offers more than 70 products across coffee, chocolate, food, and beverages, with a focus on in-store discovery and product engagement. A central feature is the chocolate tap, which allows customers to experience chocolate in a liquid format.
In the evening, the outlet shifts to an open-format bar with a menu built around coffee and chocolate-based cocktails, along with bar food influenced by Thai flavours. This approach aligns with the growing demand for spaces that adapt across different times of the day.
The company plans to expand further, with a focus on building a wider presence in India and exploring international markets over the next five to seven years.
