Savorworks Expands To Gurgaon With Premium Retail-Café
31st March 2026
Artisanal brand evolves beyond the traditional café model with a design-led, day-to-night concept centred on immersive tasting and mixology
Artisanal coffee and chocolate brand Savorworks has expanded into Gurgaon with a new-format retail-café that combines specialty coffee, bean-to-bar chocolate and cocktails under one roof, signalling a strategic shift towards a more experiential and premium hospitality model.
Founded by SCA-certified coffee roaster Baninder Singh and chocolatier Paweena Withyasathien Kochar, the New Delhi-based brand has built a niche following for its precision-led approach to coffee roasting and chocolate making. The Gurgaon outlet marks the next phase of its growth, moving beyond a conventional café format to a more refined, multi-sensory retail and dining experience.
Design-Led Space Anchored in Craft
Designed by Aayushi Malik, the outlet translates Savorworks’ core philosophy into a tactile, design-forward environment inspired by the raw forms of cacao and coffee. The interiors feature layered textures, sculptural elements and curated installations, including a merchandise dome modelled on cacao pods and a large-scale reinterpretation of the brand’s signature chocolate bar behind the coffee counter.
Unlike its Greater Kailash 2 flagship, which functions as both a production hub and café, the Gurgaon space prioritises a premium, hospitality-driven retail experience. The shift reflects a broader move away from the casual café segment towards a more curated and elevated format.
Focus on Discovery and Immersive Tasting
At the heart of the new outlet is an emphasis on exploration. With over 70 offerings spanning coffee, chocolate, food and beverages, the space is designed as an interactive tasting environment rather than a transactional café.
Guests are encouraged to sample, discover and curate products in-store, positioning the experience closer to a modern artisanal sweet shop than a traditional café setting.
The founders said the Gurgaon outlet was conceived to expand how consumers engage with coffee and chocolate across different dayparts. “It’s less about adding new elements and more about reimagining how the same core ingredients can be experienced—from a slower, immersive daytime setting to a more social and energetic evening environment,” they noted.
Chocolate Tap and Interactive Elements
A key highlight of the space is the brand’s signature chocolate tap, which allows customers to experience chocolate in its liquid form. Designed as an interactive feature, it enables guests to taste and compare variations, reinforcing Savorworks’ focus on sensory engagement and education.
Transition to Cocktail-Led Evenings
Post 7 pm, the space transitions into a cocktail-led destination, introducing an open-format bar programme that builds on the brand’s expertise in coffee and chocolate. The menu features flavour-forward cocktails that reinterpret these ingredients, complemented by curated bar bites with Thai influences.
This day-to-night transition reflects a growing trend in urban hospitality, where spaces evolve seamlessly to cater to different moods and occasions.
The cocktail programme also extends the philosophy of POD, Savorworks’ speakeasy-style concept inspired by the cacao pod, into a more accessible format for a wider audience.
Founded in 2019, the brand operates on a bean-to-cup and bean-to-bar model, maintaining end-to-end control over sourcing, production and flavour development. With its Gurgaon foray, Savorworks is positioning itself at the intersection of craft, design and experiential retail.
