A safe bet for a hits-the-right-spot breakfast, this new roastery and chocolaterie in Chhatarpur makes their brews and bars in house (and if you ask nicely, you can pop your head in and watch it happen). The iced coffees and chocolates are more innovative than the average cafe–I liked the Cafe Brulee, with a house-made fresh Mandarin syrup in particular. I hear the desserts are great, but I didn’t have the chance to try them. I did, however, try their croissants, which are well-made, just buttery and flaky enough to make you want a couple more.
